We want to express our thanks to the dozens of folks who helped us to clean up the Huckleberry Trail on Saturday morning (September 22nd). Volunteers spent several hours clearing downed wood and brush from along the Huckleberry Trail in Blacksburg. We also want to give a special thank you to Northstar Church and to the Radford service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega for their success in bringing so many volunteers to help with this event. And, of course, thanks to Dean Crane (Blacksburg Parks Director) for organizing the clean-up effort. A lot was accomplished in a very short period of time. All of us who use the trail really appreciate the work.
