About Friends of the Huckleberry

“We realize the Huckleberry Trail is a significant community asset and provides opportunities for social connection and safe places for recreation and commuting. We often hear stories about those who are new to the area and use the trail to explore community connections, are leaving their training wheels behind for the first time, or are enjoying their favorite section of the trail at the end of a long day.  Our goal is to ensure the trail continues to be a community asset for a long time to come.”

— Beth Lohman, President

Since 1991, Friends of the Huckleberry, Inc. has worked in partnership with local communities and governments to promote, fund, construct, and maintain the Huckleberry Trail. As advocates of the trail, the Friends hope to connect people and communities while improving their wellness, economic health, and experience of the trail.

Friends of the Huckleberry Trail shares updates and information through our (occasional) newsletter. Click the Subscribe button if you are interested in hearing from us.
